every one of us, rich or poor, should at least have one or two good friends. my friends will listen to me when i want to speak, will wipe my eyes when i cry, will take care of me when i am sick, and my friends will go together with me side by side through this journey of life.

as students, we could share more time with our friends. the friendship in our young hearts is pure, fresh and simple. i often feel very lucky to have a lot of good friends. especially when i had justin as one of my best friends. justin was my english teacher from the usa. i met him in 1996 when i was a student who could only speak very little english. justin was a vivid young man with a bright smile on his face, and he always had his special way to make the class active and attractive.

he taught us english by telling stories, playing games, singing songs, and even dancing. i could still remember very clearly that one afternoon when we fin-ished our class, we went to some other classes to sing songs for them, just like what people do in the states on christmas eve.

it was so interesting and unforgettable. justin was an excellent teacher, because he taught us not only how to study english well, but also the way to find out the beauty of the world and the way to be angels to others' lives. i know there wasfriendship and pure love in our hearts. facing this valuable emotion neither nationality nor age was important, the real importance lay in faith, under-standing, and care. justin is the best friend i have ever had, and i know i will cherish those days of staying together with him as the best part of my memory.

首先给大家讲这样的一则报道，说得是新加坡，新加坡是一个通用英语的国家，这个国家的公共场所的各种标语大多数是用英语书写的。但其中的一些文明礼貌用语，如：“不准随地吐痰！”“禁止吸烟！”“不准进入草坪！”等却用中文书写。你说这是为什么？人家回答：“因为有这些不文明行为的大多数是中国大陆来的游客。”

下面我再给大家讲一个真实的故事：一位母亲正骑自行车带着年幼的女儿迎面而来。孩子一不小心，手中的饼干掉在地上。妈妈马上停下车，轻声对女儿说：来，咱们把它扔到垃圾桶里去。说着便把孩子抱下来，俩人弯腰一起去捡地上的碎饼干。就是这普通的一幕，不由让人想起一句话：“素质，是一种习惯。”仔细想想，不是吗？无论这位母亲，还是将来的孩子文明素质如何，在这一细节中已有了答案。

那么,一个出色集体，哪些品质是必备的?毫无疑问,诚信就是一个必备的重要品质。

我认为一个班集体之所以可以成立，是因为同学之间信守承诺,严守班规，友善团结，共同进步。如果一个班级失去了诚信，就像不稳定化合物，随时就会“嘭”的一声，炸得灰飞烟灭。如果一个班级中同学遵守班规，互相信赖，班集体就会坚如磐石，牢不可破。

初一的时候，我担任了我们班的劳动委员。刚开始，我发现下午做保洁值日的时候，有人会不做值日就溜号，留下来的同学有的就抱怨不已。这让我很纠结，集体也很受伤——有几次就是因为保洁扣分，严重影响了常规夺红旗。

然而，一个同学去而复返的行为，让我和同学们记住了——诚信集体，坚如磐石!

那是一个星期五，放学时下起了雨。正当我组织同学搞卫生时，却发现一个从未缺席的同学居然走掉了。我当即打了电话。那位同学接到电话吃了一惊，说下午一心想着大雨天怎么回家，把值日的事忘了。他连声道歉，并说马上回来。我看着窗外的瓢泼大雨，断定这同学肯定是开玩笑的，无奈之下只好麻烦其他同学多干一些，争取把值日搞定。

风雨越来越急，而我们的值日也做了将近一半了。就在这时，那位走掉了的同学，浑身湿透的出现在班门口。我们吃惊地望着他，像看见了很奇怪的事物一般。他不安地说：“我来的还及时吧?还有没有活干啊?”我们做值日的几位同学愣住了，而他却立刻拿起扫把，干起活来。大家一时相对无语，但都若有所思。多好的同学，只为信守一份承诺，坚持一份责任，有失误，他马上改正;为集体，他真心付出。从这以后，班上故意不做值日的人渐渐少了，卫生也好做了许多，每次看到常规红旗多起来，全班同学谁不欣慰呢?

我们这个年龄，生长着身体，也增长着才干。但如果缺乏友善，不在真诚的基础上讲究诚信，天天针锋相对，就难免产生矛盾和摩擦。这样的尴尬的局面，相信大家都不愿意看到，但我们班就出现过。一段时间里，我们心头曾经乌云密布，我们眼前曾经黯淡无光。

但在学校领导和班主任徐老师的教导下，我们更多地发现、欣赏同学的友善真诚，反省、克制自己的放纵不羁。我们共同付出，在军训中获得过红旗连荣誉;我们真诚合作，使曾经垫底的学科超越了好几个班级;即使失败，我们也为每一次真诚的努力热泪盈眶!班集体正像吸铁石一样，把八班每一同学紧紧吸附在一起。
